Start with the people and systems
Record the work areas, meeting rooms, phones, wireless access points and business systems that need a connection. Include likely changes to the layout.
Map the physical constraints
Identify the proposed rack location, cable routes and access restrictions. Coordinate these with the fit-out team before ceilings and finishes are completed.
Agree what handover includes
Discuss labelling, drawings, test records and equipment information at the scoping stage. A clear handover makes later changes easier.
